Why does my dog attack its tail?

When did she start doing this. And can't you think of anything that happened of changed at the time it began. I would advice first you get her checked out by your vet that it isn't a medical cause, Then if the vet finds everything is ok they maybe able to help figure out why she does it or you may need to seek the help of a good dog behaviourist before she does serious damage to her tail.
