Young citrus tree pruning?

Don't prune this year, give them a year or two to get established. Citrus trees don't require much pruning. As time goes by you will see a few branches that the tree doesn't need, such as those that cross each other or rubbing together. My citrus trees have vicious thorns, so I prune back the ones that "stab" me when I'm mowing around the trees.
