What do you honestly think of this story idea?

It sounds unique, I can't really compare it to another storyline I've heard. There may be one out there similar to this but still, I think it can become a great story. The title suits the story as well. I think an explanation as to why he was granted permission to join the guild, for example "The guild master and members did not think he would retrieve the artifact and make it out alive".
