My husband never calls me and he makes me feel neglected what should i do?

We've been married three years and we've had a hard marriage. But we stuck through it. But when my husband is away from me he hardly calls me. Like for example he left for work at 8 a.m. Today and i haven't heard from him all day. He does this a lot. We don't live together because of financial problems and he doesn't even act as if he ever misses me. i tried talkin to him about it and he'll try to call more but it feels forced like he's obligated not cause he misses me. then It'll go back to him not callin again. i feel like he never thinks of me. i usual end up callin him but i'm tired of that. i feel used sometimes like he came over late last might had sex wit me then left this mornin and i ain't heard from him
